Terms & Conditions

1. Quotation Validity and Confirmation

• The quotation is valid for 14 days from the date of issuance (“Validity Period”). DW Signature Sdn Bhd (“DW Signature”) reserves the right to revise the quotation after the Validity Period.

• A 10% deposit is required upon confirmation.

• For the purpose of confirmation, the 10% deposit is valid for 1 month only. If the 1-month period for confirmation has exceeded, DW Signature has the right to revise the quotation.

• The 10% deposits are non-refundable.

• Any additional item or items do not include in the quotation, should be treated as Variation Order.

2. Design and Amendments

• A complimentary 3D design is provided but is limited to 3 revisions only. Any additional revisions will incur a fee of RM500.00 per revision.

• The 3D design drawing is for illustration purposes only and may differ from the final products.

3. Material and Production

• Actual pricing of the quotation will be based on the usage, design, brands of the materials and the actual site measurements.

• Products and materials that exceed specific lengths will have joining lines for structural and aesthetic considerations. The following apply:-

– Quartz Tops: Joining lines will occur for any sections exceeding 10 feet in length

– Other Materials: Joining lines will occur for materials exceeding 8 feet in length.

• Production time is approximately 4 – 5 weeks after the receipt of 50% downpayment upon confirmation.

4. Delivery and Installation

• For quotation below RM50,000.00, additional transportation/labour charges of RM300.00-RM500.00 may apply. Customers will be notified in advance of any applicable charges to ensure transparency.

• A penalty fee of RM300.00 will be charged for last-minute postponements, rescheduling, or cancellations of delivery and installation. Customers must communicate any changes to design or materials at least 3 working days in advance after confirmation. DW Signature will not be responsible for any incomplete or delayed work resulting from changes made after the design and materials have been approved and/or confirmed. Any associated costs arising from these changes will be borne by the customers.

• Delivery and installation are based on reasonable working hours (8 hours) and acceptable noise levels. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the installation area is accessible and prepared prior to the scheduled delivery and installation date.

• Any obstructions on-site that delay work and/or progress will be the client’s responsibility, and customers shall incur additional charges for any resulting delays.

5. Warranty and Liability

• Customers are required to inspect the delivered products and services immediately upon completion. Any defects or issues must be reported to DW Signature within 7 days of installation. After this period, DW Signature will not be liable for any defects not reported within the specified timeframe.

• Warranty claims will be investigated by DW Signature, and the determination of warranty applicability is at DW Signature’s sole discretion. If a defect is covered under warranty, the defective part will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customers, provided that parts are available. Customers shall be responsible for any associated shipping or handling fees.

• Customers acknowledge that the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from:-

– Negligence: Improper use or care of the product and/or materials.

– Unauthorized Modifications: Changes made to the product without the DW Signature’s approval.

– Natural Disasters: Damage caused by events such as floods, earthquakes, or storms.

– Theft: Loss of product due to theft.

– Man-made Sabotage: Damage resulting from intentional actions or misuse of customers.

6. Customers’ Responsibilities

• Customers must sign or acknowledge both 2D and 3D designs. No complaints will be entertained after confirmation on the designs.

• Any site conditions that do not meet DW Signature’s requirements may incur additional charges for extra trips or labor.

7. Cancellations

• All requests and/or notice for cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations will only be deemed terminated upon written confirmation from DW Signature. Until such confirmation is received, the project will continue, and applicable charges will remain in effect.

• The deposit is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, if DW Signature has purchased materials and/or products specifically for the project, customers will be responsible for covering the costs incurred for those items.

8. Final Provisions

All renovation goods and/or materials remain the properties of DW Signature until full payment is received from customers.

9. Acceptance of Terms

• Customers agree to the terms and conditions above by making the first payment and/or part-payment as outlined in the Payment Terms above.
